The updates will fix any problems the new iOS brought on as well as correct truncate character problems. You are going to LOVE them & the updates are free! Help turn every moment of a child’s life into an opportunity to communicate...
Having my children screened by a speech/language pathologist, when they were 2-3 years of age, was one of the best decisions I made as a parent. Of course, you don’t have to screen a child who has no milestone delays or who is speaking clearly but if he/she does, please voice those concerns to your child’s pediatrician and ask for advice. The Childhood Medical Journal apps list all the important milestones you should be monitoring & their age guidelines. It makes tracking milestones an effortless task that takes seconds.
Screening is highly recommended if:
For a 3 year old - The child does not follow directions, does not speak in sentences, cannot be understood 75 percent of the time, seems to day dream often or does not understand questions beginning with who, what or when.
For a 4 year old - The child does not understand conversation, does not use complete sentences that are part of a meaningful conversation, seems to day dream often or cannot be understood 90 percent of the time.
For a 5 year old - The child is not 100 percent understandable, does not use complete sentences that are part of a meaningful conversation, does not use sentences that are in the right order when relating events and does not make sense.
For a 6 year old and older - Get the child’s school and doctor involved with any concerns.

GREAT NEWS... the iPad version is in the review stage at Apple. I'm thinking it could be made available to the public within the next 2 weeks at their online App Store.
YOU'LL HEAR IT FIRST ON THIS BLOG THE DAY IT HAPPENS!
Then expect the iPhone version to appear in the App Store a month later. It's new design was worth the delays. Screen size makes a big difference.
I foresee parents wanting both apps so they can enter info. while at the doctors or away from home on their smaller device (iPhone). Once at home, they can exam their records, journal, review growth charts & notes, etc. using their larger device (iPad) due to the larger screen. However, all functions are available on both apps so you need only one, it's just nice to know they are fully iSync and iCloud loaded so the information can be shared and backup is reliable and secure.
Remember, each version will sell for only $4.99 each!

GREAT NEWS... The iPad version of the Childhood Medical Journal is now complete! Still selling for under $5
I wanted to place the CMJ app in the Apple Store right away but to simplify the process, my programmers wants to complete the iPhone version and submit both together. I get it, so I can't complain too much that I'll have to wait 3 more weeks before the public and start using them.
However, I could not wait to share some updated screen shots. Remember, there are 28 custom templates available for each child so this is only a few. We added many tools, like pickers, to save parents time because they never have enough!

My final iPad build is almost complete and after months & months of challenges, it will still sell for under $5! If you want to try it out for FREE before it hits the app store, I'd love your feedback.
You need to be on your iPad when you access the link below. The link will prompt you to load my CMJ App to your iPad for free so just say yes and wait 3 minutes… then start entering your info. by clicking on the "+" at the top right corner. If you downloaded any earlier builds of my app, you must delete the icon before you download this latest version.

I apologize for the delays. I refuse to release a journal app that does not allow for iCloud backup and retrieval functions should your device break or be replaced. Buyer beware when looking at other apps that don't specify iCloud capabilities.

Introduction
This app not only allows you to track the illnesses and medications your children have had, it also allows you to record and monitor:
• food intake
• release (wet/stool/vomit)
• rashes, moles, etc.
• immunizations
• hospital visits
• all doctor exams
• prescriptions
• allergies
• growth
• genetic history
and so much more. Pages can be emailed with ease to doctors, caregivers or schools to prevent mistakes from happening and save parents time and worry. The pages can even be printed for binders so information only needs to be entered once.

To start off, every child is assigned a color reference so information is organized and growth charts allow for comparisons. It is the one and only family medical organizer you will need as a parent no matter how many issues you have to tackle! It even allows you to keep a journal of memories and include photos along with a digital note pad for questions and answers. Lastly, all the information is kept secure and safe on your device and only you decide who to share it with.
